The Six Bells, Madeley

Church Street, Madeley, Telford, Shropshire, TF7 5BN

The Six Bells public house is situated adjacent to the old village green in the heart of Madeley on Church Street opposite St. Michaels Church. First licensed in 1821, it was named after the peal of six bells in St. Michael’s Church tower which was later increased to eight. The right-hand end was once a shop and at one time the pub was owned by the Wrekin Brewery, Wellington.

Now under new management, from May 2011, and after a lick of paint and continued refurbishments the Pub offers a comfortable, relaxed and traditional ambiance to the discerning drinker

Now serving quality Real Ales as well as the usual Beers, Larger, Ciders and spirits it is now a very pleasant place to while away an hour or two and meet friends old and new.
